Yesterday, I was cleaning out my cabinet and saw the shadow boxes picture frames that I use to put our family pictures. I got a flash of inspiration! Wouldn’t it be great to repurpose some old Christmas cards and put them in the shadow boxes to decorate for the Christmas season?

I love collecting cards but I have no idea what to do with them (other than stick them into a photo album). Now I can display them. 🙂

Actually, I bought these over eBay and they were really inexpensive. I bought some other shadow boxes (that have dried roses from my mom’s funeral in them) at Michael’s with a 50% off coupon.

I’ll have to watch yard sales for shadow boxes. This idea could work all year.
